Discover the remote wilderness of Finland on this epic adventurous escape. Our stay in this private estate, on the lake-edge, sits in the middle of vast Finnish forest. Our group will focus on connecting with remote wild living - staying truly connected to each other and the environment around us. Campfires, team games, BBQs, sauna, kayaking and a day-trip e-Biking the beautiful forestry surrounding the estate. The villas provide the chance to immerse in nature, whilst keeping home comforts inside - comfortable and cosy bedrooms, relaxing living spaces with four fireplaces, and a large sauna looking out to the lake with showers and changing area. In addition, this time of year in Finland, we will be gifted with 20 hours of daylight! Throughout the journey with your group, there will be opportunities to join wellbeing sessions, focusing on positive affirmation, gratitude, practising yoga nidra, and engaging in guided gentle discussion amongst each other.

At Escape Unclouded, we understand that everybody is wired differently - that is why every activity and wellbeing session is optional. There is no requirement to participate and you can see how you feel on the day.

Escape Unclouded provides an alcohol-free community environment for travelling, so that wellbeing and connection are at their strongest. We ask that guests respect this whilst embarking on your journey with us and your fellow travellers.

Please note that boats provided by the estate are available for use at your own risk - the accommodation, or Escape Unclouded, does not provide life-jackets or safety equipment for wild swimming or boat use. Wild swimming and boat use is entirely at your own risk. Strong swimming ability is recommended for those booking The Wild Finland Escape.

Due to the remote nature of The Wild Finland Escape, a hire car is recommended for the duration of the trip. Transfers to activities, to our private estate, and to the airport can be arranged on the trip through Unclouded at an additional cost.

Day 1:

Arrive in Helsinki Airport and make your way to our luxury living in Finnish wilderness. We recommend a flight arrival time before 3pm. It is recommended to hire a car for the duration of this Escape - our villa is around 2hr 40mins drive from Helsinki. Our stay and activity starting points are all very remote! The train can also be taken to Mikkeli and a local taxi can take you to our estate. Please contact Unclouded for instructions on getting to our estate after booking. We recommend stopping by a supermarket in Mikkeli - as there are no shops in the area near the estate. Settle in to your new home for the week and watch the never-ending glowing sunset at midnight.


Day 2: 

Relax and enjoy the private estate facilities! Take an early morning cold plunge in the lake followed by a wood-fired sauna with panoramic views of the surrounding nature. Cook up a lunchtime BBQ, or take a wander through remote woodland nearby. Over your stay, your Unclouded guide will brief the group on times of wellbeing sessions, which will include positive affirmation, breathwork, yoga nidra, gratitude and journalling. Take an afternoon short drive to remote woodland and relax by the lakeside. There are options to learn how locals fish in the lakes - speak to your Unclouded guide before your trip to do this activity.


Day 3:

Let's e-Bike! We will drive to meet our activity coordinator (around 1hr) to pick up our e-Bikes and head on a route through isolated woodland, lakes & cosy cafes. Take in your surroundings as we ride through peaceful wilderness, occasionally catching a short ferry to cross lakes. The route is around 60km and will likely take 5-6 hours all together, with breaks for local coffee & sandwiches. Return to our villa in the evening and take a relaxing dip in the lake and sauna as the sun sets. 


Day 4:

Take the boats onto the lake from our private beach, cook breakfast over the bonfire. Take leisurely walks through local woodland - keep your eyes open for unique bird life in the area. The group will likely do a supermarket run today to stock up on BBQ supplies! Sit together and engage in a wellbeing session, or take some time to yourself to meditate. 


Day 5:

Today we visit a local village to pick up our kayaks and venture out into the lakes for 3-4 hours. Kayak to ancient stone paintings, or take a more leisurely pace and enjoy the scenery. Return to the villa for an evening bonfire and games. Take a sunset swim and sauna to end a busy day. 


Day 6:

Morning breathwork and wellbeing sessions will be available - or take a short drive to local ancient sites. Your Unclouded guide can recommend some remote hikes in the area. Return to our villa for the evening and spend our last evening together around the bonfire, BBQ and some fun community activities. 


Day 7:

Pack away your belongings and take a chill morning by the lake before checking out at 11am. Say goodbye to new friends and make your way back to Helsinki.

Our wellbeing style combines guided coaching, practical mindset tools and gentle group discussions designed to help you understand your behavioural patterns, re-frame limiting beliefs and strengthen emotional resilience. We use the natural shift that travel creates in the brain to introduce new, healthier routines. This ranges from intentional morning practices and mindful movement to structured reflection and personal goal setting. You’ll leave not only feeling restored and clear-headed, but equipped with practical strategies to sustain positive change in everyday life.
