The Moroccan Surf Escape

Embark on a journey to the West Coast of Africa, where ocean meets Morocco's sandy beaches and dunes. Stay in a local Riad - a traditional Moroccan home, with daily Moroccan breakfast included. Learn to surf, or build on existing surfing skills with a local surfing instructor. Three days of surfing will be blended amongst a week of adventurous activities! Enjoy traditional lunches and dinner in small market towns. Relax high upon sand dunes overlooking the ocean - set up a bonfire and sandboard down the dunes with new-found friends. Take a day trip to Paradise Valley and cool off in the canyon waters, connecting with our experience of gratitude for these memories being created with each other. Throughout the journey with your group, there will be opportunities to join wellbeing sessions, focusing on positive affirmation and gratitude, and engaging in guided gentle discussion amongst each other.

At Escape Unclouded, we understand that everybody is wired differently - that is why every activity and wellbeing session is optional. There is no requirement to participate and you can see how you feel on the day.

Escape Unclouded provides an alcohol-free community environment for travelling, so that wellbeing and connection are at their strongest. We ask that guests respect this whilst embarking on your journey with us and your fellow travellers.

Guests will be allocated shared male/female rooms (unless the Private Room supplement is added at checkout). To request a shared Double Room for 2 people, please contact us, or mention during payment.

• Six nights in your Traditional Moroccan Riad (daily breakfast included)

Day 1:

Arrive in Agadir Airport before 6pm and meet your transfer to our Traditional Riad (send your flight details to Escape Unclouded prior to arrival - we will arrange your transfer). Settle into your room and enjoy a welcome Moroccan mint tea with cakes. Meet your group as they arrive at the Riad and enjoy home-cooked Moroccan dinner together at our Riad, included in your trip cost. 

Day 2: 

Relax in the morning with traditional Moroccan breakfast at our Riad. Our first day of surf will start today - meet our local instructor and head to the sea! Our instructor will be on hand to teach complete beginners how to surf, and guide those with a little more experience on the water. Enjoy a local packed-lunch, before heading back to our Riad in the afternoon for a well-earned rest. Take the evening to yourself to explore the local vibrant coastal town.

Day 3:

Let's roadtrip! After enjoying breakfast at our Riad, we will meet our driver to Paradise Valley - where we will explore the breathtaking scenery through desert valleys and swim in crystal clear blue waters. We'll spend 2-3 hours swimming, relaxing in the sunshine, with an optional gratitude session by the waters, led by your Escape Unclouded guide. Return to our Riad in the late afternoon and ask your guide for local restaurant recommendations for traditional Moroccan dinners.

Day 4:

After taking a relaxing morning with your daily breakfast, we will get back on the water with our surf instructor. Find yourself progressing as the techniques start to take hold. Enjoy a peaceful lunch on coastal sands before heading back to our Riad. Take the evening to yourself, or join us in the Riad for a guided group positive affirmation session as the sun sets. 

Day 5:

Take the morning and early afternoon to yourself, explore, relax or chat with your new friends in a local cafe. We will meet mid-afternoon at our Riad to leave for our Sandboarding Sunset Roadtrip. Our guide will bring everything that we need to speed down the sand dunes on sandboards, and enjoy relaxing on the dune tops, with a Moroccan mint tea as the sun sets. Drive back to our Riad after sunset - check out local nightlife after dark in a vibrant alcohol-free culture. 

Day 6:

Enjoy your morning breakfast and sunrise on the Riad rooftop. Join the final instructor led surf sessions with traditional Moroccan packed lunch. A lunch-time wellbeing session to journal and talk as a group will also take place at the Riad. As we prepare to head back to our home lives tomorrow, spend your final afternoon searching for traditional souvenirs. Share memories as a group in the evening during a home-cooked Moroccan group dinner, included in your trip cost. 

Day 7:

Take in your last sunrise on the Riad rooftop over breakfast. Say your goodbyes to new-found friends and make your way to Agadir Airport (return transfer included in trip cost).

Our wellbeing style combines guided coaching, practical mindset tools and gentle group discussions designed to help you understand your behavioural patterns, re-frame limiting beliefs and strengthen emotional resilience. We use the natural shift that travel creates in the brain to introduce new, healthier routines. This ranges from intentional morning practices and mindful movement to structured reflection and personal goal setting. You’ll leave not only feeling restored and clear-headed, but equipped with practical strategies to sustain positive change in everyday life.
